Self-care Sunday
An Ayurvedic and yoga one-day retreat
You're invited to spend the day at the Holistic Healing House, taking a break from routine and allowing yourself time for rejuvenation and connection. This day supports you in reconnecting with yourself, your tribe, and nature. We start the day with meditation and mindful movement to centre ourselves. We continue with a nourishing, Ayurveda-inspired brunch. There will be downtime to enjoy the beautiful garden and the swimming pond. We'll end the day with a soothing, restorative yoga class and a sound bath with singing crystal bowls.
The Venue
You're welcome to spend the day in the Holistic Healing House. Morning and evening practice will be in the beautiful yoga shala. The beautiful garden with a swimming pond can be used for relaxing and connecting with nature. We'll have a delicious brunch between the trees if the weather permits.
The Food
Maziar, the chef of Life Bar, will be cooking delicious, seasonal-appropriate dishes for us. We'll get great examples of how to use seasonal produce and spices to nourish our bodies. He is generous enough to share some recipes with us, so we have some inspiration to take home.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga; they share the same philosophical root, which says that wellbeing results from a balance between mind, body and spirit. Ayurveda brings us in touch with the rhythms of nature as well as our internal rhythms. Our exploration of seasonal living will include a short introduction to Ayurveda to then dive into Ayurveda's wisdom on how to align inner and outer nature for optimal wellbeing. This will include lifestyle practices, food and spice choices. No previous knowledge of Ayurveda is required.
Yoga
We will have two yoga classes during the day that are also tailored to the season. The morning class will be more dynamic to get us ready for the day. The afternoon class will help us wind down into the evening. No experience with yoga is needed to join.

Free Time and Nature Walk
Take advantage of your free time to explore the serene natural beauty that surrounds our retreat center. Join our guided nature walk and immerse yourself in the peaceful environment. You'll have the opportunity to connect with the stunning natural surroundings and find inspiration in the scenic landscapes. Reconnecting with nature is a powerful way to rejuvenate your spirit and appreciate the beauty of the world around you.

Nutritious Breakfast
After your enriching yoga session, indulge in a wholesome breakfast prepared by our dedicated retreat chef. Our breakfasts are not only delicious but also highly nutritious, ensuring you have the energy and sustenance you need for the day ahead. We emphasize the use of locally sourced and organic ingredients to provide a meal that nourishes your body and supports your overall well-being.
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Afternoon Yoga and Relaxation
In the afternoon, return to the yoga studio for a rejuvenating session that combines gentle yoga poses, deep relaxation, and breathwork. This practice is designed to help you recharge your energy and leave you feeling balanced and serene. It's the perfect way to unwind, both physically and mentally, and prepare yourself for a peaceful evening.
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Guided Meditation and Mindfulness
Join us for a guided meditation and mindfulness session that will help you relax, reduce stress, and deepen your self-awareness. Our experienced meditation instructor will lead you through various techniques that promote mental clarity and emotional balance. Discover how to connect with the present moment and cultivate inner tranquility. It's a profound experience that will leave you feeling centered and equipped with valuable mindfulness tools to carry into your daily life.

Gourmet Dinner
