A space to connect, belong and blossom

The Holistic Healing House

Discover a haven of serenity and wellbeing at the Holistic Healing House. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, our sanctuary offers holistic healing tools that help you destress, nourish your body, expand your mind and open your heart.

We support you in developing a more loving relationship with yourself, others and nature by drawing upon the wisdom of yoga, Ayurveda, intuitive dance, psychotherapy, sound healing, nature and community

01.

Connect to YourSelf

We created the House of Holistic Healing with the intention of providing a warm, nourishing environment to guide you back to that place inside of you where presence, peace and wisdom live. Our offerings are intentionally designed to support you to embody your whole self freely. Here you’re invited to reclaim all parts of yourself. You’re free to come home to yourself and belong. You’re invited to be you - fully and authentically.

02.

Connect to Community

We invite you to show up authentically to connect with others. Having genuine connections with like-minded people is essential to our wellbeing. We consciously create space for you to connect with others during breaks, after classes, or in sharing circles.

03.

Connect to Nature

The reclamation of our true self cannot be complete if we don’t recognise we’re part of the whole. Therefore, our relationship to the earth is a cornerstone of the Holistic Healing House. It’s a space to be in deep communion with each other and the earth.

Meet the Team

  • Jolien is the founder of the Holistic Healing House. She has always been fascinated with the mind-body connection. Her curiosity led her on a journey from Belgium to Tanzania to India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Spain and back to Belgium. Her social work and cultural anthropology studies led her to Tanzania, where she worked with street children and researched indigenous healing modalities. During her studies, she experienced the positive impact of yoga on her wellbeing. Jolien has been exploring yoga, yoga philosophy and psychology since 2011. She has accumulated more than 1000 hours of training and has taught yoga since 2017, first in multiple studios in Belgium and later internationally. She has taught at a school for ecotourism and permaculture in Indonesia and at multiple teacher trainings and yoga retreats in Spain. After teaching internationally, she moved back to her native Belgium to facilitate trauma-sensitive yoga and yoga therapy as holistic healing modalities for mental health. You can find more info on her work as a trauma therapist here . Jolien widened her scope over the last few years and delved into Ayurveda, sound healing and body-oriented psychotherapy. Her passion for sharing these healing modalities urged her to create the Holistic Healing House.

  • Maziar is the Holistic Healing House's chef and Jolien's partner. He grew up in Iran surrounded by fresh food, herbs and spices. When he moved to Belgium, he missed the fresh herbs used in the Iranian kitchen, so he started cooking himself. He fell in love with the creative aspect of cooking. Funnily enough, he felt that cooking tasty food with animal products was too easy. He wanted a bit more of a challenge and passionately dove into vegetarian cooking, where herbs and spices are the stars of the dishes. As a marathon runner, it is essential to Maziar that his food is as healthy as it is tasty. He is a big fan of local and seasonal veggies. Maziar is also the founder and the chef at the popular brunch café, Life Bar, in Leuven. He never seizes to come up with creative, nourishing world cuisine. Besides creating wholesome bowls, he is also a forerunner in preparing vegan and gluten-free treats, like his famous banana bread.
